New Champ Rua Hoping To Square Off With Couture Next

A few hours after his impressive first round knock out of champion Lyoto Machida at UFC 113 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Mauricio Rua spoke with Sherdog.com about his dominant performance. Rua, a former PRIDE middleweight Grand Prix champion, earned the UFC light heavyweight title with the victory. Less than four minutes into the bout, a left hook by Rua started the end for Machida as Rua avenged his controversial October 2009 loss to Machida.
